Ad Pixel

Our website uses ad pixels from Google, Facebook and Microsoft. Ad pixels are an analytics tool to analyze visitor behavior on our website. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and optimize our website for our visitors. Ad Pixels do not collect personal data, but aggregated and anonymized data.

Use of the Facebook Pixel (Facebook Custom Audiences):

Furthermore, we use the so-called "Facebook Pixel" of Facebook Inc ("Facebook") on our website. This allows interest-based advertisements ("Facebook Ads") to be displayed to users of our website when they visit the social network Facebook or other websites that also use the method. Through the Facebook pixel, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Facebook server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Facebook through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of the Facebook pixel, Facebook receives the information that you have clicked on an ad from us or called up the corresponding website of our Internet presence. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will learn and store your IP address and other identifiers.

With the use of the Facebook pixel, we pursue the purpose of displaying Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our Internet offer. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we would like to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. Furthermore, with the help of the Facebook pixel, we can track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad. The legal basis for the use of the Facebook pixel is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking services, and record your interaction with that embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website.

PayPal

mautwelt.de offers the option of processing the payment transaction via the payment service provider PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg). According to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, it is in our legitimate interest to offer an efficient and secure payment method. As far as it is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit b. DSGVO), we pass on the following data of the customer to PayPal in this context:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Address
  • Email address

Without the transmission of your personal data, we cannot carry out a payment via PayPal. You have the option to choose another payment method at any time. The processing of the data provided under this section is not required by law or contract. We use PayPal as a plugin, whereby PayPal sets cookies for secure payment design.

PayPal carries out a credit check for various services such as payment by direct debit to ensure your ability to pay. This serves the execution of the contract according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO and PayPal has a legitimate interest in this according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. For this purpose, your data (name, address and date of birth, bank account details) will be passed on to credit agencies. mautwelt.de has no influence on this process. We only receive the result of whether the payment has been made or rejected or a check is pending.

You can find more information on objection and removal options vis-à-vis PayPal at: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

Your data will be stored until the payment processing is completed. This also includes the period required for the processing of refunds, claims management and fraud prevention.

Multisafepay

On our website we offer, among other things, the payment option via the payment service provider Multisafepay, (Kraanspoor 39, 1033 SC Amsterdam (The Netherlands), phone: +31 (0)20 8500 500). When processing payments via Multisafepay, the latter collects various transaction data and forwards them to the relevant bank. In addition to the data required for the payment, Multisafepay may collect further data and information, such as the address or individual items from the shopping cart, as part of the transaction processing. mautwelt.de transmits the following data to Multisafepay:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Address
  • Email address

Multisafepay then authenticates the transaction using the authentication procedure stored at the bank for this purpose. In this process, neither mautwelt, nor third parties have access to your account information. We use Multisafepay as a plugin, whereby Multisafepay sets cookies for secure payment.

For details on payment with Multisafepay, please refer to the GTC and the privacy policy of Multisafepay: https://www.multisafepay.com/privacy-cookies

The legal basis for the transfer of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (consent), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (processing for the performance of a contract) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (safeguarding justified interests in case of advance performance). You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. Such revocation does not affect the validity of past data processing operations.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a solution from Google that allows us to manage website tags via an interface. Tags are small code elements on our website that are used, among other things, to measure traffic and visitor behaviour, measure the impact of online advertising and social channels, use remarketing and targeting and test and optimise our website.

The Google Tag Manager is used on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in the fast and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on our website. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. We have concluded an order processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager. https://www.google.com/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/

If you deactivate tracking by Google Analytics, you will also not be tracked by Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytics

This website uses due to our legitimate interests to optimize and analyze our online offer in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO the service "Google Analytics", which is offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The service (Google Analytics) uses "cookies" - text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google LLC complies with European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in the other contracting states of the agreement. Only in individual cases is the IP address initially transmitted unabbreviated to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. The user's IP address transmitted by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.

As part of the data processing agreement, which we as website operators have concluded with Google Inc., the latter uses the information collected to create an evaluation of website use and website activity and provides services associated with internet use.

The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online service by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity in order to improve our online service.

You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you can access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

Furthermore, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google Inc. The following link will take you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

How long we store your data

When you post a comment, it is stored indefinitely, including metadata. This way, we can automatically detect and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our site, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, change, or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Administrators of the website can also view and modify this information.

What rights you have to your information

If you have an account on this website or have posted comments, you may request an export of your personal information from us, including any information you have provided to us. In addition, you can request the deletion of all personal data we have stored about you. This does not include data that we are required to retain due to administrative, legal or security needs.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments might be examined by an automated service for spam detection.
